Baked French Fries

  • 2-4 pototoes
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper (or other spices)


  1. Wash and scrub potatoes.
  2. Cut up lengthwise into french fries.
  3. Soak in warm to hot water for 10-15 minutes (don't boil them).
  4. Drain water, add oil and spices (be liberal with the amount of oil).
  5. Bake at 450 F for 15-20 minutes, flip and cook for another 15-20 minutes.
